This beautifully designed 130-page edition, featuring 198 photographs, recipes, and stories, invites readers on a journey through the flavors, hospitality, and soul of Galaxidi and Ganimede. To ensure an authentic and original result, the 50 culinary creations of Chrisoula Papalexi and her family were photographed outdoors, against the natural beauty of Galaxidi.
The book took one year to complete — a demanding yet passionate endeavor that fulfilled the dream of Chrisoula Papalexi, the hotel’s heart and creative force, and Sissy Nika, an acclaimed journalist specializing in gastronomy and culture.
Two remarkable women joined forces: one cooking and creating, the other writing, photographing, and editing the book in both Greek and English.
The publication’s goal is to highlight the gastronomic identity of Ganimede, featuring all the recipes from its legendary breakfast, its famous pies, traditional sweets, and the authentic tastes of Galaxidi.
